A New Destination for Luxury Lingerie: The Amoreze Story

A New Destination for Luxury Lingerie: The Amoreze Story

The Problem With Lingerie As We Know It

The lingerie industry hasn’t evolved with women’s bodies.

For decades, it has relied on rigid underwires, synthetic fabrics, and outdated sizing systems that force women to adapt to garments — instead of garments adapting to women. Bras are pushed as “push-up,” “balconette,” or “one-size-fits-all,” while real bodies change monthly, hormonally, emotionally.

I didn’t start Amoreze to create another lingerie brand.
I started it because I could no longer ignore what we wear directly on our skin — and what that might be doing to our bodies.

Amoreze exists to challenge the idea that lingerie must be uncomfortable, toxic, mass-produced, or disconnected from the woman wearing it.

Why I Started Amoreze

My name is Anca, and I founded Amoreze eight years ago after someone very close to me was diagnosed with breast cancer.

That moment changed how I thought about everything: what I eat, how I live, how I care for my body and mind. And then one question kept returning:

What about the materials we wear directly on our breasts every day?

As I began researching, I discovered that traditional underwires sit directly against lymph nodes, and that polyester releases toxins when warmed by the body. At the same time, I was deeply frustrated by the lingerie market itself. I owned more than eight bras — all in different sizes, all uncomfortable, all supposedly “luxury.” No one helped me identify my correct size, and every brand seemed to invent its own sizing logic.

So I created my own solution.

I designed an anatomically correct triangle bralette, made from lace with as much cotton as possible, without wires. It was comfortable, supportive, and visually delicate. At that time, the concept of a “bralette” barely existed — the market was dominated by padded push-ups and rigid balconettes.

As time passed, Berlin shaped my work. The city’s freedom, nightlife, and creative tension pushed me to experiment with leather. Elastic straps evolved into fine-cut Italian leather strips. Lingerie lines met structure. Femininity didn’t disappear — it transformed.

What emerged was a unique dialogue between the body and leather.

What Sets Amoreze Apart

Lingerie That Fits You — Not the Other Way Around

I still create tailormade pieces because I believe lingerie should adapt to the body, not force the body into predefined sizes. Women’s bodies are not static — and our lingerie shouldn’t be either.

Engineering Meets Sensuality

As an environmental engineer, I work with lines, geometry, and balance. Each piece is designed to emphasise the natural beauty of the female form through structure, not restriction.

Leather, Reimagined

We use high-quality leather offcuts from luxury fashion houses — materials that would otherwise be discarded. These are transformed into refined, lingerie-inspired leather pieces designed for layering, styling, and long-term wear.

Made-to-Order by Design

Every Amoreze piece is created only after an order is placed. This eliminates overproduction and ensures each garment has a specific owner from the moment it’s conceived.

Built by a Woman, for Women

Every piece is designed and created by a woman who understands the body she’s dressing — physically, emotionally, and intuitively.
